PROBLEM AREAS
Several destructive activities take place within the Boucher Forest. These include: snowmobiles, mountain biking, logging, bonfires.
• bush parties (celebrations in the forest), and camp fires.
• Use of snowmobiles and ATVs in the forest.
• Cutting down of trees and construction of shacks.
• Pollution of all kinds, dumping of waste.
• Important anthropic pressures on the various ecosystems particularly during periods of breeding and nesting sites.
• Introduction of foreign plant species by motor vehicles in the Boucher Forest.
• Trapping.
Furthermore, the current zoning makes it difficult for police reinforcement.
